Tuesday night at Court, it seems one particular Duchess was drawing the attentions of very attractive males, like honey draws..well you get the idea. Even if both of those fellows are quite charming and disarmingly attractive, each in their own way, Her Grace did not fall for their attentions.
Instead she simply presented the unique Nolan Feir to Their Majesties, notifying them formally, that this is the Prince's new bodyguard. Seems the Princes body was not there to be guarded, as if this is an unusual occurence. Such a shame too, the lad is seriously drool-worthy.
The other man of the evening, Ikar-utterlyyummy-Naru was seeking out Meren's company also. The man must enjoy getting his head batted about by angry females. The news of his having gotten his Young "unwed" Lady in a very family way would normally have had the Blackhaired beauty boxing his ears. She just smiled and gave her word she would visit often and keep a close eye on Things. That alone should have told Ikar he was in deep dregs, instead he appeared relieved and thanked her. Just how hard a blow to the head did that boy take when he was at sea?
Drama of sorts came when the newly presented Nolan, in turn presented the King with a gift from his brother, Mikhail Feir. Vanilla peach bread with orange glaze. My mouth waters just writing about it. The King gave it two sticky Royal thumbs up and agreed to be lavished with more at the cooks discretion. This sent a certain Chefess into a tailspin. Her antics, actions and words left some wondering just who's castle that was to begin with.
Sad news and yet good news all rolled into one came from the Queen. She is making a pilgramage to Avalon to commune with nature and her sister in heart, Issotta. Her Majesty has been a pillar of light and love, strength and wonder for us all through recent hard times. Her speedy return is eagerly awaited by all, Specially a certain King. We need our Royals happy and in the mood for Midsummer's Eve festivities.
Much more to come, trust me.
