"Friends... Healing magic is a boon to mankind..but I would be remiss if I did not point out it's limitations..like any gift, it has it's own areas where it's helpfulness is diminished. Use this simple guide to tell if you need a potion, or if you need to seek the human wisdom of trained medical attention!. Remeber 2 golden rules. "POTIONS ARE EXPENSIVE AND LIMITED." And... "NO HEALING POTION CAN REVIVE THE DEAD".
"Healing Potions magically boost the body's ability to heal..so quickly that even things that would kill it to heal naturally are able to close and mend. However...you have to be clear what you're buying...and if it will help. THINK BEFORE DRINK. Healing potions will *not*: Mend broken bones that must be set. Doing so may cripple! ...Cure illnesses... for those, you need a "Cure Disease Potion" and they are vastly more expensive and rare. ..They will not ease conditions such as exaustion, heat stroke, frostbite, fatigue, labor pains, general pains, damage to the brain or lost limbs or digits. Healing potions heal damage to the body. Fractured but not broken bones...SEE A HEALER FIRST TO BE SURE...bruises. Cuts and punctures. Contusions. Stab wounds...
