"Which direction is around the world?" Daley remembers that question well, asked once when she was a young girl. Then again, it would never be forgotten in her family's eyes as the teasing continues and the great debate still waged on upon the lips of Kings and Queens, Courtiers and peasants alike.
Born Delphia McBrier, in Dumfries, Scotland, she always did have an eye for adventure, and a taste for the unknown. Although a "real lady" would never think of aspiring past the known, or so her mother always told her.
The day came when Anna wrote Daley, requesting she take her place as the Queen's hand for a time. So many years it had been since she and Anna had seen the other! Daley's dark amber eyes begged her parents for the opportunity until they finally gave in, granting permission.
The journey to Solurius began, with two trunks in tow, and herself recalling all the lessons she had been taught growing up.
