Kaoru

(Kaorus beginnings stem from partial norse mythology and a manga named Ragnarok. Taking the concept of Valhalla falling from the manga and the concept of reincarnation as well. Kaoru was born as the reincarnated form of the Trickster God Loki.)

Kaoru was born . . . or more so conjured into this world as Valhalla fell prey to disaster. He along with many other gods were brought to the human realm to start over and rebuild but lost the knowledge of their pasts in the process. He awoke as a young child alone in the woods and soaking wet. As an orhan he struggled trying to fend for himself in a world he knew nothing about and could barely understand. as he matured though, he realized he had gifts that normal people didn't have. He was faster, stronger, and could think at a rate far beyond those around him. He began pick pocketing to make ends meet and even stole food when times were tough. He never liked cities much too many people so when he was fed up he would wander the woods and became a survivalist of the wildnerness.
He left the place he called his hunting ground when he turned 18 and roamed the lands moving from place to place and doing whatever he needed to survive. Years down the line when he was 22 he came across Somerled. There he came across Queen Morrigan who invited him in . . . to have a home. Never really having had a home he was awe struck. He accepted and made his place the woods. Keeping a distance but still coming the kingdom to visit and learn more about his home. As he matured there with all his new friends and adopted family, he began to have visions; the resurfacing of his past within his mind. He took leave from his home and found a crystal cave where he took refuge. He was encased in a large crystal and underwent a metamorphosis of sorts. He regained a good amount of his memories and the powers lost to him when he awoke. Now as an almagam of his former self and the person he had lived as thus far he began a new life of learning about himself and trying his best to protect those he had come to love.
One day he abruptly left to journey once more as he felt he needed time to soul search. He had come to know his heritage, the truth of his past. to him it was something of a burden that needed his undivided attention. So he left and traveled teh world while trying to train himself in his newly found abilities. He came to learn that as the trickster god he was able to manipulate the very world around him as if he could reshape the world in whatever fashion he wished. if not focused he good do a great deal of damage. he made a vow that he would only use his power to alter the world if direly necessary but anything else at his disposal would be used to help others around him or himself.
His travels ended in the far east where he took on a role as an assassin for a short time. The work was in the name of good though . . . to balance the world his leader told him. His last mission with this assassin guild nearly left him short two comrades. Demons had infiltrated a kingdom were sacrificing innocent children to ressurect an evil lord. The worse of it all the King of this realm was infact the demons leader. The daughter he had, he killed in the name of the beast he wished to ressurrect. In his rage he destroyed the entire castle and left stricken with death on his head.
Helater traveled back to Somerled only to find to his dismay that it was no longer in existence. Not only had he killed, lost friends but now he had no home and no family to return to. He struck out in depression and lost himself to sorrow in the travels ahead. Until he came across Solurius. In one night he found his Adopted Uncle Micheal Darkrose and once more fell back into place.
He now takes up residence within the City Manor owned by his Uncle but can be found mostly at he Ale's 'N Tales Tavern.
